We are thrilled to usher you into the engaging world of our ELA B10 summer session! Over the upcoming month, we are going to delve deep into the realms of characterization, literary conflicts, various genres, narrative frameworks, the art of poetry, and the craft of essay writing.
This course is designed to captivate and challenge, to bolster your comprehension of diverse literature types and their intrinsic elements. Our reading list is as eclectic as it is engaging, showcasing an array of genres from a wide spectrum of authors and cultures. These include First Nations, Métis, Saskatchewan, Canadian, and international literary pieces. We will delve into the exploration of literary devices such as imagery, symbolism, and thematic elements, alongside an array of narrative structures and the essence of conflicts in literature.
Our virtual classroom is an open forum for thoughtful discourse, valuing each unique perspective and voice. Through this course, we seek to heighten your literary understanding and analytical skills, while fostering a sense of social cognizance and appreciation for diverse identities.
Assessments and exams will focus on the practical utilization of the theories we discuss. Each week will include daily tasks and a weekly examination to monitor your growth and comprehension. The aim is to facilitate learning, personal growth, and to help you articulate your distinctive voice through the power of writing.
